WTF, SPARQ Sign Sponsorship Agreement
The agreement was signed between WTF President Chungwon Choue and Patrick Stone, chairman of SPARQ.
Under the three-year agreement, SPARQ is entitled to sell its sports beverage products in powder form to the WTF’s 182 member national associations. SPARQ, whose headquarters are based in Melbourne, Australia, also has the right to use the WTF name and logo.
The WTF will receive royalties from SPARQ for its gross sales worldwide of its products bearing the emblem of the WTF.
“I am sure this agreement, the first of its kind for the WTF in sports beverage category, will be beneficial both to the WTF and its member national associations, and SPARQ,” said WTF President Chungwon Choue..
“Our products are all natural, caffeine free and nothing artificial, and easy to drink and taste good,” said SPARQ chairman Stone.
Initially with three flavors – lemon/lime, orange and black currant, SPARQ’s isotonic recovery supplements in power form will be sold in the following quantities - 1.25kg jars, 1kg, 500gm, 17.5gm sachets, according to SPARQ.
