Pramac lends its name to German MotoGP round
Pramac, the Italian power equipment company, has become the title sponsor for this year's German round of motorcycling's MotoGP World Championship.
Under the deal with MotoGP promoter Dorna Sports, the race will be known as the Pramac Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.
The Grand Prix takes place at Sachsenring in Hohenstein-Ernstthal on 15 July.
Sienna-based Pramac is the owner of MotoGP outfit Alma Pramac Racing.
Paolo Campinoti, chief executive of Pramac, said: "Germany represents a very important market for Pramac also thanks to its deep-rooted presence in the territory, fed by our Stuttgart branch which is celebrating its 25th year of activity. It will be a weekend of meeting and work for the Pramac group with the hope that it can also be a further incentive for [riders] Danilo Petrucci, Jack Miller and for the whole team.”
