Synesis to provide IT services at 2019 European Games
Synesis, the Belarusian IT firm, has signed up as a sponsor of the 2019 European Games in the country's capital Minsk.
Synesis will create software and hardware units for the organising committee, and develop a new official website, minsk2019.by, and mobile applications.
The company will provide Minsk 2019 with services across six games-related areas: timing and scoring; games management systems (including accreditation, accommodation management, human resources management, arrivals and departures); intranet; printing and copying; ensuring functioning of the central technical operations; and ensuring internet functionality.
Dmitry Shwedko, director of Synesis Sport, said: "It has never happened before that Belarusian companies created IT solutions for such large-scale sports events. Our offer was several times cheaper and more innovative than the main player in the market, that has organised such events for over 30 years. We have proposed a completely new system of management and organisation, which after the European Games can be used for any type of event.."
Earlier this year, Ticketpro, the international ticketing services provider, was unveiled as the official ticket operator of Minsk 2019.
International Sports Broadcasting, the production company founded by Manolo Romero, the media veteran behind the host broadcasting of many Olympic Games, is the host broadcaster.
